Operated and owned by Karla Ortez since 2009, LandStudio constructs architectural designs including patios, sitting areas, children’s areas, terraces and pools that incorporate natural elements such as wood, pavers, pebbles and sand.

Born in the heart of Central America, Karla grew up surround by the wonders of nature. Her native Honduras is a country where nature is on display in all its splendor thanks to extraordinary biodiversity. That upbringing has inspired LandStudio and leaves a trademark of her roots in every project.

After obtaining her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Karla worked at Bermello, Ajamil and Partners, a top South Florida architecture firm, were she gained experience in commercial design and urbanism. After B&A, LandStudio was born out of a need for self-expression.

Mission

By incorporating more inviting exteriors, LandStudio strives to ensure that people will spend more time enjoying the outdoor spaces in their homes, as well as educating homeowners on the benefits of human coexistence with the natural world. Aesthetically, LandStudio composes exterior spaces that hope to appease the spirit and bring people closer to nature.
